This past Wednesday was Children's Day in Korea, a public holiday. After lunch with faculty I went with a co-worker and his wife to Garosu Street (가로수-길), near Apgujeong (압구정). I can't believe that I've never been there. It is undoubtedly one of my favourite new places in Seoul. There are numerous coffeeshops in the European style, classy restaurants, artsy shops and other interesting spaces like a bookshop totally devoted to books on Art & Design. Below, and in the post to follow, are some random images from Garosu-Gil (가로수-길).
