Ancient Korean Colours and Patterns

We can easily forget how much people just loved art with lots of color back then.
In the West, the ancient Greek and Roman statues were painted with bright colors. The paint wore off on nearly all of them, leaving the gray statues that we are used to seeing. Ancient Egyptian statues were also usually painted.
The Koreans did have good eye for geometric design. They did it very well.

Yes, I do like the Far East's geometric designs, especially for windows and doors. This reminds me that I took pictures of different geometric designs for windows in ancient Korea... need to go look for them.
